Location: Longmont, CO
Work Schedule: Hybrid (On-site 2 days/week, 40 hours/week)
Clearance: No security clearance required
Salary: $105K - $120K
Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented mid-level Project Engineer (5+ years of experience) to join our team in Longmont, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and tracking various project activities using Agile methodologies. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are clearly defined, monitored, and successfully executed.

This is a hybrid role, requiring two days per week on-site at the Fordham location.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and progress tracking using MS Project, Jira, and other Agile tools.
  • Manage and update project documentation, including tasks, stories, metrics, and timelines.
  • Support Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting and analysis.
  • Generate and maintain reports using Advanced Excel for tracking project health, performance metrics, and key deliverables.
  • Create visual presentations and schedules using OnePager and MS Office tools.
  • Collaborate with engineering and management teams to define and monitor key milestones and deliverables.
  • Proactively identify risks and issues and assist in mitigation planning.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Proficiency with:
  • MS Project
  • Advanced Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, and macros)
  • Jira
  • OnePager
  • MS Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience generating and managing project metrics and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
    Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in the OPIR (Overhead Persistent Infrared) domain.
  • Knowledge of government contract reporting requirements and structured project life cycles.
