Position Description

Serco is seeking a Military Training Manager 2 - Site Manager to join our team at Camp Atterbury near Edinburgh, Indiana. In this leadership role, you will manage all contractor personnel and activities supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP). You will serve as the primary point of contact for technical and operational oversight at the site, ensuring seamless coordination of training operations, logistics, and staff supervision.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage performance of Northrop Grumman and subcontractor staff under the Task Order (TO).
  • Oversee regional scheduling, training execution, logistics, property management, and continuing education for contractor personnel.
  • Work closely with the TO Manager and Mission Training Complex (MTC) Director to execute all training and technical mission requirements.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for technical TO requirements and direct supervisor for all assigned personnel.
  • Exercise full authority to act on all matters regarding daily TO operations at Camp Atterbury.
  • Ensure site manager or alternate is available during operating hours and on-call during 24/7 training operations to address urgent issues.


Qualifications

Qualifications
  • One of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience.
    • Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years of supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in:
    • Military training and training support operations.
    • Logistics and property management.
    • Operations and training at Division level or higher.
    • Training management within Army MCTSP.
  • Must have served as a battalion or brigade commander or operations staff officer (S3).
  • Graduate of CGSC, ILE/MEL 4, Senior Service College, or equivalent DoD schooling.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Must be able to work onsite at Camp Atterbury near Edinburgh, Indiana.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Proven leadership experience managing large teams and complex training operations.
  • Strong organizational and decision-making capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Army training systems and protocols.

Additional desired experience and skills:
  • Master's degree in Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting an Army Mission Training Complex.
