Position Description
Serco is seeking a skilled SCA Supply Technician to support our Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) Mission Training Complex (MTC) team in Washington state. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of supply management activities including inventory, storage, cataloging, and property utilization in support of MTC operations. You will report directly to the Operations Team Manager and play a critical role in ensuring supply chain efficiency and equipment accountability.

In this role, you will be responsible for a range of supply management activities including inventory, storage, cataloging, and property utilization in support of MTC operations. You will report directly to the Operations Team Manager and play a critical role in ensuring supply chain efficiency and equipment accountability.
In this role, you will:
- Perform technical supply management tasks by commodity area or function.
- Organize tasks based on complexity, difficulty, and responsibility.
- Manage inventory using barcode scanning systems.
- Ensure proper hand-receipt of all government-furnished equipment at the end-user level.
- Assist with ordering of expendable and durable supplies.
- Coordinate with the Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) for vehicle requirements.
- Support the Facilities Manager with maintenance and repair tasks.
- Prepare work and service orders as required.
- Handle individual case supply actions and program-specific requirements.
- Consider program needs while applying standardized supply guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- One of the following:
- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience with Army Supply and Property Book procedures.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience with Army Supply and Property Book procedures.
- Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience with Army Supply and Property Book procedures.
- Must currently possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- Ability to understand organizational supply needs.
- Strong analytical skills for problem definition, data collection, and guideline interpretation.
- Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work onsite at JBLM in Washington.
- Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A detailed understanding of Army supply operations and property book procedures.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with technical supply management processes.
