Serco is seeking a Network Communications Manager 1 to join our growing team of diverse professionals supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) at Camp Dodge in Johnston, Iowa. This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and customer approval.

Serco is seeking a Network Communications Manager 1 to join our growing team of diverse professionals supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) at Camp Dodge in Johnston, Iowa. This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and customer approval.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the Network Support Team (NST) providing communication architecture for efficient and effective operation of the installation network.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement exercise support communications plans.
- Configure communications equipment.
- Implement Cyber Security processes.
- Assist in installing equipment and circuitry in support of exercises.
- Work closely with the Mission Training Complex (MTC) Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and MTC Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) within the Risk Management Framework (RMF).

- Bachelor's degree in Network Management or a related field with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Network Architecture design and implementation; or
- Master's degree in Network Management or a related field with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Network Architecture design and implementation.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience with advanced planning, troubleshooting, and maintenance on the Microsoft server platform.
- Cisco router, switch, and firewall configuration experience.
- Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) configuration/architecture experience.
- Specific product line experience (Cisco, Fujitsu, Hewlett Packard, Tripwire).
- Familiarity with RMF Assess and Authorize process and Cyber Security requirements.
- Ability to acquire Information Assurance Training (IAT) Level II Certification within 180 days from start of work.
- Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
- Strong understanding of technology integration and information flow including LAN/WAN, firewalls, security, storage, and backup methodologies.
- Ability to frequently move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds around the worksite.
- Ability to support shifts outside normal working hours for 24/7 operations during exercise events, which may exceed 40 hours per week.
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 25% of the time).
- Ability to work on-site at Fort Indiantown Gap in Pennsylvania.
Additional desired experience and skills:
- Additional CompTIA certifications such as Security+, Network+, and A+.
- Vendor certifications including CCNA, Windows Server, and Red Hat Linux.
