Position Description
Serco is seeking a dedicated and experienced Principal Military Trainer - Scenario Design Enterprise (SDE) Operations Officer to join our team at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. In this role, you will support the Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) by managing daily operations for the Scenario Design Enterprise. Your efforts will ensure seamless coordination across all exercise lifecycle events to support Brigade, Division, and Corps level simulation-driven Warfighter Exercises (WFX).

Serco is seeking a dedicated and experienced Principal Military Trainer - Scenario Design Enterprise (SDE) Operations Officer to join our team at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. In this role, you will support the Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) by managing daily operations for the Scenario Design Enterprise. Your efforts will ensure seamless coordination across all exercise lifecycle events to support Brigade, Division, and Corps level simulation-driven Warfighter Exercises (WFX).
In this role, you will:
- Serve as the operations manager for the Scenario Design Enterprise, overseeing daily operations and managing information flow.
- Support planning, preparation, and execution of Warfighter Exercises (WFX) and daily garrison operations.
- Maintain tracking mechanisms for personnel rosters, schedules, container shipments, and other daily operational functions.
- Maintain situational awareness for all Exercise Lifecycle (ELC) planning events.
- Utilize VISIO for room builds and coordinate room apportionment at the Mission Training Complex.
- Collaborate with Exercise Support Division planners on Scenario Design room build submissions.
- Provide support during Initial Exercise Planning (IEP) and Final Exercise Planning (FEP) conferences.
- Operate and manage site setup, and maintain proficiency in CPCE, VJOC, WARSIM, Exercise Client, and basic knowledge of ARCHER and V3D.
- Ensure accurate display and updates of the Operational Environment (OE), CORPS BUBs, CUBs, and scenario data during WFXs.
Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED with 9 years of professional leadership experience, or
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, or
- Master's degree with 3 years of experience.
- Familiarity with current Army and Joint doctrine.
- High proficiency in MS Office software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access).
- Ability to travel up to 25% both CONUS and OCONUS.
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
- Must be able to work on-site at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong organizational skills for managing operational and scheduling requirements.
- Proven experience supporting military training exercises and operational planning.
- Excellent communication skills to interface with cross-functional teams.
Additional desired experience and skills:
- Graduate degree.
- Completion of U.S. Army Command and General Staff Officer Course or MEL 4 ILE equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in large-scale simulation exercise design and planning.
- Background in computer-assisted simulation training.
