Position Description
Serco is seeking a Principal Military Trainer - Cyber Scripter Storyline Writer to join our Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) support team at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. In this high-impact role, you will design and implement realistic cyber scenario injects and storylines to enhance the training of Brigade, Division, and Corps commanders and their staffs during Warfighter Exercises (WFXs). You will serve as a subject matter expert on cyberspace operations and simulation-based cyber training integration.

In this high-impact role, you will design and implement realistic cyber scenario injects and storylines to enhance the training of Brigade, Division, and Corps commanders and their staffs during Warfighter Exercises (WFXs). You will serve as a subject matter expert on cyberspace operations and simulation-based cyber training integration.
In this role, you will:
- Utilize expertise as a U.S. Army Cyberspace Planner to configure cyber storylines and injects tailored to cyberspace operational training.
- Support scenario development through ARCYBER and the Information Warfare Division (IWD) ensuring sequencing aligns with exercise objectives.
- Deliver subject matter expertise in Offensive and Defensive Cyberspace Operations to replicate realistic Operational Environments (OE).
- Generate MSEL injects and scenarios to simulate Cyber Security incidents, Offensive Cyberspace Operations, and interactions with Cyber Support Elements from USCYBERCOM.
- Coordinate dynamic scripting with Scenario Design Elements (SDE) and provide mission reports to the IWD.
- Review and provide feedback on Cyber CONOPS, integrating effects into the Non-Lethal Adjudication Log.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience; or an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Minimum of 6 years of U.S. military service as a Non-Commissioned, Chief Warrant Officer, or Commissioned Officer.
- Trained Cyber Planner and/or graduate of the Joint Network Attack Course.
- Recognized Cyber certification with experience from military or private sector.
- Familiarity with current Army and Joint doctrine.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access).
- Active DoD Top Secret security clearance based on SSBI with eligibility for TS/SCI.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated ability to plan and implement cyber storylines into military training environments.
- Knowledge of ARCYBER mission operations and joint cyber tasking processes.
- Strong communication and coordination skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.
Additional desired experience and skills:
- Experience in OIF, OEF, or OND operations.
- Battalion or Brigade-level staff officer experience.
- Completion of US Army Command and General Staff Officer Course or equivalent ILE (MEL 4).
