ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Journeyman Engineer to join our team in the Patuxent River/Lexington Park, MD area. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Applying engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems
- Will review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation
- Will perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management
- Will analyze, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systems
- May provide tasking and supervision to lower-level employees on the program
- This position may require travel within the United States (less than 10%)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a Technical or Scientific or related area of study
- 4+ years of experience working in areas associated with engineering and or systems engineering
- Proficient with Microsoft products, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience working with one or more of the following: Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process, Engineering Data Requirements Agreement Plan (EDRAP, Airworthiness Qualification Plans (AQP), and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Navy aircraft or surface ship systems
- Experience writing and executing ECPs
- Familiarity with NATIPS and NATOPS
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current and active Secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Tasking is primarily computer based. The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, Customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods.
