Salary: $90k - $115k annually (depending on experience)
Work Location: Hybrid remote/in-office (please see on-site requirements below)
**On-Site Requirements: Position will require on-site work at Patuxent River, MD one - two days per week. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience with requirements gathering/analysis for a software development or data warehousing team, with a thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the principles and practices of Agile development. The candidate should be a proactive, detail-oriented professional with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively and possess excellent communication skills.

Essential Functions:
- Gathering information from Stakeholders through interviews, meetings, observations, surveys, and documentation analysis
- Evaluate, refine, and prioritize requirements to ensure they are complete, clear, consistent, and feasible
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and other team members, utilizing GitLab to document/update requirements
- Create and maintain detailed documentation (How To's, FAQ, User Guides, Requirements Documents, etc.)
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team
- Ensure technical requirements meet business needs and are implemented according to Stakeholder expectations
- Participate in the creation and execution of test plans and testing activities
- Other duties as assigned or required
Requirements
Required:
- Experience eliciting, documenting, maintaining, and analyzing requirements for a software development team
- Experience working with stakeholders from both business and technical teams
- Experience creating and executing test plans
- BS/BA degree and 3 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 7 years related experience OR HS and 9 years related experience.
Desired:
- Familiarity with NAVAIR/NAWC business data systems
- Familiarity with requirements management tools, specifically GitLab
- Familiarity with design and prototyping tools, such as Figma
- Familiarity with databases and SQL
