RiVidium Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Editor to support executive-level projects with a focus on business transformation and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in change management, business process development, and performance measurement, along with demonstrated experience ensuring compliance with government and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide editorial guidance and strategic direction for high-visibility projects involving change management, business process re-engineering, and performance metrics.
- Manage complex projects, ensuring timely delivery within established timeframes and resource constraints.
- Review and assess documentation, workflows, and procedures for compliance with federal regulations, accounting principles, internal controls, and multi-tiered system application standards.
- Ensure consistency of language and tone across business process documentation and related materials.
- Apply quality assurance best practices to all written deliverables, maintaining a high standard of accuracy and clarity.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, project managers, and stakeholders to translate technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Proven expertise in quality assurance within a technical or process documentation environment.
- Strong understanding of business process modeling principles and tools.
- Proficient in iGrafx Business Process Modeling (BPM) software.
- Skilled in Microsoft SharePoint and its suite of tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capability to work effectively with diverse teams and senior leadership.
- Experience supporting U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) or similar federal agency projects is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 3 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in a technical editing or documentation role.
