Job Description:
TEKsystems is seeking a Software Developer to support multiple contract wins. This role involves developing software solutions within our federal client’s JADC2 and MTC-X programs, which aim to enhance coordination and decision-making in complex military operations.
Responsibilities:
• Develop backend applications using Java
• Create and maintain frontend applications using TypeScript/JavaScript
• Implement pub/sub architectures to enable asynchronous communication among AWS services such as Amazon SQS, Lambda, and Amazon S3
• Design and develop microservices to support scalable and efficient software solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software applications
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field
• 3–10 years of experience in software development
• Must possess a TS/SCI clearance (fully adjudicated) and be SAP clearable
• Willingness to undergo a polygraph examination if required by the customer
• Previous experience with military simulations and C++ is a plus
• Development experience in the .NET Framework within Visual Studio is desirable
• Expert experience with object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Experience with SQL databases or knowledge of modeling and simulation is a significant plus
Nice to Haves:
• Experience as a Hardware to Software Integrator, specifically with HydraBeam and HydraBream integration
• Current CI polygraph required; Full Scope polygraph preferred
• General understanding of controlling and statusing equipment with experience in XML, Java, SNMP, noSQL databases, React, NodeJS, GEMS, Rest, SCPI
• Experience with containers and Helm charts for software installation
• RF knowledge or experience
• Same skills for HydraBeam development, except the polygraph is not required for development, only for integration

Program Overview:
As a Software Developer, you will be part of our federal client’s JADC2 program, which connects sensors and data from all military domains (land, sea, air, space, and cyber) to enhance collaborative efforts among forces. The MTC-X program supports this initiative by providing a mobile system that integrates data from various sources, enabling commanders to make quick decisions and utilize long-range weapons accurately.

• Integration of distributed sensors, shooters, and data from all domains to all forces
• Enhanced decision-making skills through real-time data analysis
• Single mobile system for streamlined operations
Clearance Level: Top-Secret/SCI
• This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI) or the ability to obtain an interim clearance
• U.S. Citizenship is required
Salary Range: $104,000.00 to $185,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, TEKsystems considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
