What You'll Do
As an IEC Engineer, you'll play a vital role in turning complex challenges into clear, practical solutions. Your day-to-day will involve working across contracts and service lines to help design and integrate systems that support critical operations.
You will:
- Partner with senior engineers and integration teams to assess, document, and track both current and emerging program requirements.
- Create and contribute to architectural documentation, technical artifacts, and presentations that communicate your work clearly and effectively.
- Support the integration and testing of hardware/software components in a large-scale, complex environment.
- Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to build technical, logical, and physical architecture models.
- Monitor service channels for urgent needs and respond proactively.
- Develop comprehensive solutions by working with subject matter experts across projects and service areas.
- Manage service tickets and drive resolution to completion.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in multi-site, enterprise-scale environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience writing detailed technical documentation
- 8570 compliance
- Active TS/SCI clearance required
- A strong sense of ownership and a drive to continually improve (certifications, advanced training, etc.)
- Experience with IT project integration, including:
- Presenting to leadership
- Managing project milestones and gates
- Collaborating across technical teams
- Skills in creating technical diagrams using Microsoft Visio
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or other project tracking tools
- A passion for learning and applying emerging technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Juniper / Cisco Networking
- Cisco ASA / Palo Alto Firewalls
- VMware (virtual networking, vROPS)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux, YUM, Satellite, Capsule
- EMC or NetApp storage platforms
- Backup technologies (NetBackup, Cohesity, Veeam)
- DISA STIG compliance, RMF, and certification processes
- Exposure to cutting-edge technologies in areas like:
- Enterprise system integration & design
- Virtualized infrastructure
- LAN/WAN & firewall technologies
- DMZ architecture and enterprise-class storage
- Backup and disaster recovery systems
- A mission-driven culture where your work matters every day

- Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $145k-155k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
