IT Project Manager SME

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead high-value technology programs within the DoD enterprise. This subject matter expert will drive project execution and lifecycle planning.

Naval Station Norfolk (Norfolk, VA)

Clearance Requirements

Active Secret Clearance required.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end project execution exceeding $10M in scope.
• Lead multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Manage risk, stakeholder engagement, and communication.
• Maintain MS Project schedules and cost controls.
• Ensure successful project closeout and documentation delivery.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's in engineering, math, or science.
• Master's degree or equivalent work experience required.

Experience

• 8+ years leading large-scale government IT projects.
• Strong leadership in cross-functional team settings.

Certifications

• PMP (required)
• Proficient in Microsoft Project

Desired Skills

• Understanding of DoD lifecycle acquisition.
• Experience with project metrics and dashboards.
• Strong conflict resolution and team management.
