General Function:

• Provide product support to the PM and PSM across all phases of the system life cycle.
• Assist in planning and managing logistics for development, production, and deployment activities using DoD and USAF policies.
• Support the preparation, review, and revision of ILSPs, PMPs, CDRLs, SOWs, and capability documents.
• Participate in program reviews and provide updates on project status and decisions.
• Help develop integrated logistics and readiness support requirements and conduct life cycle cost and warranty analyses.
• Contribute to total life cycle supportability from concept through disposal, including problem analysis and reporting.
• Perform logistic studies, readiness assessments, cost/benefit analyses, and resource requirement evaluations.
• Support Life Cycle Logistics Management (LCLM) through analysis, reporting, and recommendations.
• Assist in developing product support strategies using ILS, PBL, and Public Private Partnering concepts.
• Provide input on program strategies, depot/Contractor performance, and logistics support elements.
• Conduct supportability analyses, evaluate trade-offs, and assess logistics support data quality.
• Support development of logistics documentation and identification of support requirements for equipment and training.
• Evaluate Logistics Management Information (LMI) deliverables and summaries.
• Assist in Life-Cycle Cost Management (LCCM) and Design-to-Cost (DTC) studies and cost modeling.
• Analyze and assess the cost impact of modifications, and validate methodologies for cost estimation.
• Use Instructional Systems Development methods to create training programs on ILS/Product Support and sustainment topics.
• Conduct training courses related to logistics and warranty-related subjects.
• Recognized as highly skilled with advanced knowledge and experience in their technical/professional field, with the ability to apply relevant standards, procedures, and practices.
• Oversees and guides junior and journeyman personnel, providing expert support across Program Office, Enterprise, and Staff-level interfaces.

Qualifications:

Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:

• MA/MS Degree with 10 years of directly related experience or BA/BS with 12 years of directly related experience or 15 years of directly related experience to this discipline.
• Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret Level.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications and other standard applications.
