Procurement Specialist
Key Role:
Work as a motivated and dependable entry-level provisioning specialist in a fast paced and detailed oriented team. Maintain and follow all established local and corporate purchasing procedures for all orders regardless of value. Formalize client purchase requests and material fabrication requests to create purchase orders and fabrication requests. Maintain accurate and timely history of all actions performed during the provisioning process. Solve routine and unique problems of increased complexity and recognize and refer problems above scope to higher levels. Work both individually and within a team. Physically move received material and transport them to local QC for inspection. Upon inspection, physically transport material to the Booz Allen truck, weighing 1¾ tons, or other vehicle for delivery to the client. Upon getting to the client site, remove the material and transport the material to the supply room at the client site.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $48,100.00 to $98,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience provisioning parts and services through commercial vendors
- 1+ years of experience working with a corporate purchasing entity
- Experience monitoring, tracking, and coordinating delivery schedules and invoicing orders
- Experience interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
- Ability to drive a 1¼ ton truck with trailer on occasion
- Ability to move and transport 50lbs
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience working in corporate expense reporting system
- Experience working in DoD purchasing environments
- Experience with DoD part numbers, including NIINs and NSNs
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- Forklift License
