What You'll Do
You will be a vital source of stability for military families in a time of need.
- Provide Critical Support: Deliver in-person, short-term, solution-focused counseling to military adults and families.
- Address Key Challenges: Address common challenges including deployment stress, relocation, parenting, marital issues, and grief.
- Build Resilience: Support service members through reintegration, relationship transitions, and resilience-building.
- Educate the Community: Conduct wellness briefings and behavioral health trainings in partnership with installation leadership.
- Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with military Points of Contact (POCs) to align services with local priorities and contract requirements.
- Uphold Excellence: Maintain clear, compliant documentation per DoD and program standards.

- Minot Air Force Base
- Grand Forks Air Force Base

Schedule & Coverage Expectations
This role offers a unique blend of flexibility and purpose.
- On-call, part-time availability for assignments that vary in length (from a single day to multi-week rotations).
- You choose assignments based on your availability and location.
Requirements
We are seeking a dedicated professional ready to serve.
- Master's degree in a behavioral health field (e.g., Counseling, Social Work, Psychology).
- An active, unrestricted license in any U.S. state.
- Eligible license types: LCSW / LICSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, and LMHC.
- Please note: LMSW, LADC, associate-level, or supervised licenses are NOT eligible.
- A strong understanding of military family life and the unique stressors service members and families face.
- Experience working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English.
- Must pass all federal and installation-specific background checks and suitability screenings.
- Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting military or government programs.
- Former military service or direct work with service members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
