HOW A HELP DESK TECHNICIAN II WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
• Provides technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Education: BA/BS
• Required Experience: 7+ years of related experience
DESCRIPTION
• Provides telephone technical support to employees regarding technical aspects of assigned products.
• Answers questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization and usage of assigned products.
• Applies basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes and recommend solutions to correct common failures.
• Maintains appropriate licenses, training and/or certifications, as needed; researches and determines applicability of new/emerging certification programs; may recommend applicable certifications for lower-level team members.
• Has a deep understanding of how teams integrate and coordinate their efforts and resources to achieve program objectives. In-depth understanding of how own technical specialism and related disciplines are applied in the context of specific DOD, Agency and/or industry standards and requirements.
