Responsibilities of the Weapons System Integration Engineer include:
- Manage engineering and program challenges
- Adapt existing equipment to meet updated DOD standards
- Coordinate with various technical teams on structural design, aircraft integration, and software updates
- Perform risk assessments and troubleshoot technical issues
- Support flight clearance and testing efforts
- Assist with program planning and cost analysis, reporting directly to the Program Manager
Qualifications of the Weapons System Integration Engineer include:
- 8+ years of engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field
- Experience managing armament system programs: development, testing, integration & deployment, ensuring interoperability and compliance
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Travel required 25% per month
- Active Secret clearance
Compensation for the Weapons System Integration Engineer includes:
- Salary Range: $130,000-155,000 **depending on experience**
