Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for procedures
- Assist surgical teams with procedures including handing instruments and ensuring sterile environments
- Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and organized
- Adhere to infection control protocols and surgical best practices
- Provide critical support during emergency surgeries and routine procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of a Surgical Technician program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA (required)
- At least 2 years of full-time experience in a hospital operating room or surgical center
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a government background check
