General Function:
- Provide technical and analytical security management support for daily DoD operations.
- Coordinate with internal and external organizations to facilitate ACS Directorate functions.
- Support implementation of the Information Security program to protect classified material per DoD, USAF, AFMC, and ICDs.
- Assist in marking, storing, transmitting, and educating personnel on handling classified materials.
- Support implementation of the Industrial Security program and manage DD 254 forms and visit requests.
- Assist with Personnel Security investigations, clearance tracking, and maintaining a DISS account.
- Apply SAPNP standards and implement relevant special access program nomination procedures.
- Support secure facility operations including access control, alarm operations, and visitor certifications.
- Understand and apply ICD 705 standards for secure facility physical security.
- Assist in annual refresher security training and general office support in secure environments.
- Help implement Resource Protection, Force Protection, OPSEC, and AT programs.
- Develop and maintain security documents such as SCGs, PSDs, TA/CPs, and PPPs.
- Integrate export controls and program protection into physical and information security planning.
- Contribute to Directorate's Program Protection Plan (PPP) including CPI identification, SCRM, and threat analysis.
- Understand and support certification/accreditation (C&A) and IT INFOSEC security requirements.
- Assess vulnerabilities and recommend cyber and telecom security countermeasures.
- Aid in development of Acquisition Information Assurance strategies aligned with DoD policies.
- Provide security for system security, technology control, and support special access programs.
- Participate in SSWGs, prepare reports (e.g., DD 254s, Security Status Reports), and ensure contract compliance.
- Conduct personnel security vetting, indoctrinations, access rosters, self-inspections, and EEUMs as required.
- Possesses advanced knowledge and expertise, recognized as highly skilled in their technical/professional field.
- Capable of overseeing and guiding junior and journeyman personnel within the discipline.
Qualifications:
Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:
- MA/MS Degree with 10 years of directly related experience or BA/BS with 12 years of directly related experience or 15 years of directly related experience to this discipline.
- Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Top Secret Level.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications and other standard applications.
