ManTech seeks a strategic and dynamic Executive Director, Business Development for our SOF and COCOM Business Accounts.
As an Executive Director, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding ManTech's footprint in United States Special Operations Forces and COCOM Markets (e.g., USSOCOM, USCENTCOM, and USSOUTHCOM). The team you will be a member of is critical to achieving the ManTech Defense Sector's vision to be recognized as a critical mission partner to DoD and the premier provider of digital modernization services and strategies. You will collaborate with a team of BD executives, cultivating a pipeline for growth and reporting directly to the Vice President of Defense.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Closely align to the Marine Corps/National Security Division Manager who has established a business strategy for SOF and COCOMs which will inform near and long-term business outcomes and opportunity pursuits.
- Deliver high end technology and engineering solutions including: App Modernization/ Cloud Migration, predictive and contested logistics, Mission Operations Support/ Help desk, App Maintenance/ Agile/ DEVSECOPS, Digital Engineering implementation, Process Improvement/Automation, Deployed Support Infrastructure, and autonomous platform prototyping.
- Exhibit a culture of client-first engagement and relationship building, focused on mission outcomes, robust engagement, account growth, and unwavering commitment to excellence and positive mission outcomes.
- Leverage a deep mission understanding of client needs and objectives focused in the areas of Cyber Operations, Digital Engineering, Mission/Enterprise IT; data analytics, automation and AI.
- Translate market trends into compelling capture strategies, levering your deep understanding of the SOF and COCOM domains to drive innovative solutions.
- You will be empowered to meet and exceed business and financial goals aligned to ManTech's annual operating plan and long-range strategy, encouraging active engagement with influencers and decision makers at target agencies and industry conferences/events.
- Establish strong networks, building on your existing relationships to pursue SOF & COCOM (USSOCOM, USCENTCOM, and USSOUTHCOM) contracts in a highly competitive market. Leverage these relationships to gain access to top operational and acquisition stakeholders.
- Lead BD efforts for your assigned Accounts and serve in the front-line business development role for strategic and critical pursuits. Lead from the front as a business leader.
- Travel up to 35%
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant business development experience, including 5 years in DoD focused sales. An equivalent combination of military or government experience may also qualify.
- Demonstrated success in sales or business development in SOF and COCOM markets, with strong business acumen and experience with government contracting processes.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of client seniority.
- Proven track record of leading and executing account management for large, complex pursuits valued >$50million
- Experience developing go-to-market plans and the ability to align them horizontally across the Defense Sector and ManTech Enterprise as a whole.
- Willingness to travel as needed to achieve mission objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- TOP SECRET with SCI eligibility.
- Prior Active military experience, particularly in the SOF and COCOM communities.
- Advanced academic degree, Technical or MBA.
- Experience with large GSA AAS bids.
Clearance Requirements:
- US Citizen with Active SECRET clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
