Position Summary
Odyssey Systems is seeking experienced Systems Engineers to join our talent community for anticipated opportunities supporting various Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) programs. This is an evergreen position used to proactively identify and engage highly qualified candidates for future openings across our portfolio of engineering and acquisition support efforts.
While this role is not currently tied to a specific contract, selected candidates may be matched to upcoming positions based on their background, skill set, and program needs. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in systems engineering, technical integration, and acquisition support within a DoD environment.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Clearance: Secret
Education: Bachelor's degree in a business, engineering, or technical field
Years of Experience: 8+ years of relevant DoD program or acquisition management experience
Preferred Qualifications
Clearance: Top Secret / SCI
Education: Master's degree in Business, Public Policy, or related field
Years of Experience: 8-15+ years supporting DoD acquisition programs (ACAT I-III)
Certifications: PMP, DAWIA Level II/III, or equivalent
Technical Skills
Interpersonal Skills

Travel: May be required up to 10-20%

Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Support government Program Managers in all phases of the acquisition lifecycle
- Monitor and report on cost, schedule, and performance metrics; provide recommendations to leadership
- Assist in the development and coordination of acquisition documentation (e.g., AP, LCMP, TEMP, CDD, SOW, CDRL)
- Lead or support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), technical interchange meetings, and milestone reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR)
- Track and analyze program risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain risk registers
- Engage with stakeholders across engineering, logistics, test, and finance to ensure integrated planning
- Prepare and deliver briefings, reports, and updates to senior leadership and external stakeholders
- Support contract management activities, including proposal evaluation, modifications, and deliverable tracking
Qualifications
