Role Overview:
As an Application Developer, you will have overall responsibility for application coding, design, and standards. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in application development, including API integration (REST/SOAP), database programming (PL/SQL, NoSQL), UI development, and configuration management. Preferred experience includes CI/CD pipeline engineering, DevSecOps, and AWS infrastructure setup.

Role Highlights:
Role: Applications Developer (2x openings)
Location: 100% Remote (EST)
Duration: 6-month Contract-to-Hire
Clearance: Must have an Active DHS Public Trust (ICE preferred, but willing to do reciprocity for any Department of Homeland Security Public Trusts outside of ICE)
Pay Rate: $50 to 55/hr. on W2

Qualifications:
AWS experience
At least eight (8) years of relevant development experience
Experience with developing and managing data models
Experience designing and developing solutions with PaaS solutions such as ServiceNOW in an Agile Software Development environment
Experience designing and developing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) with Representation State Transfer (REST), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), and JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)
Experience with providing support and technical advice during conceptualization, development, and implementation phases to transform requirements into working solutions. This includes involvement with users to define system scope and objectives, as well as contributing to design decisions.
Technical proficiency with developing database queries, batch jobs, and stored procedures with PL/SQL and NoSQL
Experience with database programming using SQL, Oracle DB/ PostgreSQL DB / MySQL
Experience developing solutions using Message Services, including management of Apache ActiveMQ / AWS SQS
Experience developing web applications with responsive UI frameworks to support multiple platforms, including compatibility with Chrome, Internet Explorer, and iOS
Experience with all aspects of configuration management planning, including configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, configuration audits, and configuration documentation

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in engineering and implementing DevSecOps (CI/CD) pipelines and incorporating security protocols while deploying infrastructure as code (IaC).
Experience with Cloud and AWS Administration, and supporting the set up of AWS Infrastructure
