We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructures to ensure optimal performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design and Implementation:** Develop and implement network solutions using Cisco technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, Wireshark, and other network management software to ensure system availability and reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, and security configurations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
- Work closely with other IT teams to support overall infrastructure and business needs.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Cisco networking technologies (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs).
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and software.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
