Job Description
- Knowledge of Cisco call manager and Cisco Unity VM
- Program and trouble shoot VOIP phone and telecom issues
- Administer licensing and users on call Manager
- Help manage physical connections coming in from ISP for demarc/fiber/POTS/Fax lines
- Perform network cable pulls and install network drops
- Work with the network team in resolving network, wireless and VoIP issues
- Resolve trouble tickets with Help-Desk team with end to end resolution
- Maintain and support tributary equipment belonging to USMMA
- Basic physical layer troubleshooting for Network Switches and fiber connections
- Support Wireless access points and WAP installations
- Perform other duties that can arise in support of USMMA
- This position is 100% On-Site at Kings Point, NY
Qualifications
- 1- 3 years experience working with VOIP Call manager
- 1-3 years experience with Network and wireless equipment
- 1-3 years experience performing network cable pulls, network drops and fiber connectivity troubleshooting
- 1-3 years experience working with ISP, demarc, fiber, POTS and Fax line connections
- CCNA or VOIP certification preferred
- Attention to Detail - able to efficiently process individual tasks quickly and accurately
- Integrity - ability to be honest and maintain strong moral principles
- Procedure Development - ability to develop, maintain and drive standardized processes, procedures and work flows through the organization
- Attitude - driven to constantly learn and adapt to new technologies and solutions
- Interpersonal Skills - be a master of all interactions and communication with co-workers, vendors, faculty/Staff and Students
- Note: Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder who has resided in the U.S. for at least 3 years and the ability to obtain a public trust
