The successful candidate will have a strong background in information security, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level Information Security Analyst to augment the 8A G6 Cybersecurity Team by performing cybersecurity support and technical services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in information security, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ensure all 8A HQ personnel are registered in the Army Training Certification Tracking System (ATCTS) prior to authorization to network/system access to government systems.
- Review System Access Authorization Requests (SAARs) for accuracy and compliance with system access requirements as validated in ATCTS.
- Register and maintain systems in the Enterprise Mission Assurance Service (eMASS) and Army Portfolio Management System (APMS), including monitoring and generating plans of actions and milestones.
- Assist in the preparation of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) and Tenant Inclusion Packet (TIP) documentation in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Provide cybersecurity training for 8A HQ and Major Subordinate Commands (MSC) personnel at the request of the Government representative.
- Assist in conducting a three-day workshop during 8A Cybersecurity Month, including agenda preparation, training location coordination, and presenting to attendees.
- Prepare the 8A Monthly Cybersecurity Bulletin, including subjects from open-source forums and government websites.
- Review Host Based Security System (HBSS) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) reports for the 8A child domain (CENTRIXS-K network) monthly.
- Scan 8A facilities monthly for active wireless devices and include scanning results in the Monthly Status Report (MSR).
- Assist in the development of Enterprise Service Requests, including preparing and assisting in filling out the requests.
- Record all cybersecurity incidents and related details in the Incident Response Report (IRR) and include it in the MSR.
- Conduct monthly weapons checks of SIPRNET and CENTRIXS-K networks in accordance with Army policies and directives.
- Provide guidance to 8A HQ and MSC on incident handling requirements.

Skills / Qualifications
- Security Clearance Requirements: Must have US Secret Clearance, Minimum Background Investigation complete NALC\T3 with SSBI\T5 initiated.
- IT Certifications: DoD 8570.01-M/DoD 8140 IAM Level II certification. Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
- Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field. Bachelor's degree can be waived with four (4) continuous years performing Information Assurance/Cybersecurity tasks.
- Experience Requirements: Two (2) of the last four (4) years performing IA/Cybersecurity tasks. Position 2 requires at a minimum of one year IT instructor experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex cybersecurity issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including risk management, vulnerability assessment, and incident response.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on cybersecurity support and technical services.
- Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
- Experience with eMASS, APMS, and other cybersecurity tools and systems.
- Experience working in a military or government environment.
- CompTIA CASP or equivalent certification.
Additional Items
- Some travel between primary agency site and geographically separated locations may be required to perform assigned duties.
