Are you ready to make a real difference every day? As a Senior System Administrator (Desktop Support), you'll play a critical role in supporting the IT backbone of a U.S. intelligence mission. Your expertise will ensure that users have the secure, reliable systems they need to protect our nation's interests-today and into the future. You'll be part of a tight-knit team, working directly with end-users and IT professionals to keep systems running smoothly, resolve technical issues, and implement desktop solutions that make a difference. What You'll Do
- Be the go-to expert for desktop support-troubleshooting hardware and software issues both on-site and remotely.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows desktops and essential applications.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access within Active Directory environments.
- Handle service tickets professionally and efficiently, keeping users informed throughout the process.
- Apply system patches and updates to keep environments secure and optimized.
- Support software rollouts, tech refreshes, and new tool implementations.
- Document technical solutions and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
- Partner with other IT teams to tackle complex issues and improve support operations.
- Assist with basic network troubleshooting and connectivity issues.
- Deliver occasional user training for new systems and tools.
- Associate's degree in IT or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least 5 years of desktop support experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and remote support tools.
- Familiarity with networking basics and diagnostic techniques.
- Excellent communication skills-you're great at making tech easy to understand.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain a CI Poly.
- CompTIA Security+ certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days.
- Comfortable lifting and moving equipment (up to 40 lbs).
- Willingness to provide after-hours support as needed.
- Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy management.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ticketing systems.
- Basic scripting experience (PowerShell, batch).
- Prior experience supporting federal or intelligence community environments.

- Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $128k-132k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
