Logistician Level V

Data Intelligence (DI) is seeking a highly experienced Logistician - LEVEL V to provide comprehensive oversight of logistics operations within a Department of Defense (DoD) environment. This role involves managing system fielding, implementation, and execution of field support, approving final reports related to obsolescence management, maintenance, failure, asset tracking, and post-fielding assessments. The selected candidate will also monitor the efficiency of field support personnel and recommend personnel co-use. This position is onsite at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) MD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight for all aspects of logistics related to the contract.
• Manage system fielding, implementation, and execution of field support.
• Approve final versions of obsolescence management, maintenance, failure, asset, and post-fielding reports.
• Monitor efficiency of field support personnel and recommend personnel co-use strategies.
• Conduct system life-cycle cost analysis and develop component studies.
• Oversee planning and execution of training support across all programs.
• Stay informed of logistics technology advancements and government policies to enhance logistics processes.

Qualifications:
Education:

• BA/BS from an accredited college or university in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Substitution of four additional years of experience for the BA/BS degree.

Experience:

• 15 years of experience as a logician within a DoD environment.
• Expertise in system life-cycle cost analysis and component studies.
• Strong background in training support planning and execution across multiple programs.
• Knowledge of logistics technology advancements and government policies to improve logistics processes.

Additional Requirements:

• Must possess at least a secret level security clearance
• Strong leadership and analytical skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced DoD environment
