As a FP&A Analyst III you will support our Business Operations by analyzing financial data, creating financial models, forecasting future performance, preparing budgets, and providing strategic insights to management by comparing actual results to planned targets, ultimately helping the company make informed business decisions based on financial trends and projections. Includes regular analysis of business unit cash, orders, revenue, and earnings (CORE). You will be strategic in contributing to three- and five-year plans, assessing CORE risks and opportunities, and analyzing utilization rates for indirect expenses such as general & administrative (G&A) and overhead. Assignment may include return on investment (RoI) and return on sale (RoS) modeling in support of making informed business decisions specific to growth opportunities and strategic planning initiatives. You will prepare detailed financial reports and presentations to communicate financial performance and insights to executive leadership.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $94,345.12 - $129,724.54. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare reports on financial performance tailored to the needs of leadership and company practice
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Study and analyze trends and forecasts to inform recommended actions.
- Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecasts.
- Support business unit FP&A reporting requirements tied to monthly cadence
- Support ad-hoc business performance reporting.
- Present monthly and quarterly financial business unit reports
- Must work collaboratively day in and day out to establish favorable relationships and report
Qualifications You Must Have:
- A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field and typically 6 years or more of related work experience.
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports and/or projections
- Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial software
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work cross-functionally, collaboratively at all organizational levels
- Ability to effectively convey information and ideas
- Possesses strong financial acumen
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

- Familiarity with Profit and Loss statements
- Experience with indirect rate composition
- Knowledge of DoD, government contracting and/or public auditing, policies, standards, and procedures
