SAIC is seeking an Engineering Tech II for our customer site in North Charleston, SC to support the US Navy to install cable, mounting kits and other equipment in radio rooms of new construction submarines.

SAIC is seeking an Engineering Tech II for our customer site in North Charleston, SC to support the US Navy to install cable, mounting kits and other equipment in radio rooms of new construction submarines.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Work with others who prepare design drawings and assist with the design, evaluation, and/or modification of machinery and equipment.
- Research, design, develop, and test installation of new equipment.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in engineering technology, or formal electronics training from: Technical School, Class A or B Military school in electronics or communications; or High School and 2 years of related experience.
Required experience:
- Will be responsible for creating work orders in CMPRO, putting cabling material in kits per drawings,
cutting cable, and communicating with supervisors the status of a kit.
Required Clearance:
- Must be eligible and must be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to start date. SAIC will sponsor your clearance. Candidates with active clearances are acceptable.
- US Citizenship is required to meet the security requirements for this contract.
