HOW A LOGISTICS ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance, and/or repair activities
• Installation/maintenance of various facility and security systems, specialized disposal and troubleshooting of that equipment
• Work will consist of managing Accountable Property (vehicle fleet management), basic warehousing, cargo processing and the procurement of equipment - all processed through the Sponsor's IT systems
• Will be required to provide bi-weekly updates on activities for formal metric/activity reporting and monthly submission of fleet mileage reports
• Will assist with the ordering and acquiring materials through a variety of internal and external sources; and validating Customer requirements against regulations and estimated costs. He/she will be required to reconcile routine to moderately complex financial statements to ensure expenses are properly recorded; reconcile accounts payable to ensure accuracy and funding availability; and review bills/invoices for accuracy
• The Logistics Analyst will support ad hoc local deliveries as needed. Weekly local deliveries will be required for routine material. He/she will also be required to process inbound and outbound shipments on a bi-weekly basis

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Education: High School Diploma/GED
• Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience
• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly
• Required Skills and Abilities: Must be able to lift 50 lbs, working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Excel and become forklift certified upon arrival
• Location: Springfield, Virginia
