VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is seeking an Acquisition SME I (Metrics) to support our DISA PEO Cyber customer located at Ft. Meade, MD.
This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:
Provide research, analysis, assessment and develop recommendations in the areas of cost, schedule, performance, risk management oversight to support portfolio management and strategic goals
Assist with evaluation, development and sustainment of performance metric plan to improve portfolio reporting and budgeting effectiveness and monitor cost and schedules for reporting portfolio metrics baseline.
Responsible for collecting data from portfolio managers and the coordination, tracking and completion of assigned tasks to support DoD project life-cycle management.
Coordinates deadlines and monitoring activities on project execution, gate reviews, technical baselines and milestone reviews, and status updates in written and oral manner. Reviews and provides edits to artifact of Vendor subordinates to ensure relational information and program or policy information remains relevant to reporting status, Government formats, and formal reviews.
Plans, organizes, and integrates data and relevant information to achieve critical milestones, reviews and project completion over a project’s life-cycle. Responsible for advising Government managers on calculated or known changes in status, logistics and/or crucial data influencing the progress of projected and realized events.
Collects and reviews data and information to prepare reports regarding status, issues, risks, financial management for submission.
Ensures procedures and database tools or applications are followed.
Uses databases, web-portals, applications, and project management tools, to assist with developing responses to ad hoc internal and external assignments, ensuring accuracy and technical merit.
Integrates and validates project data and liaisons within and across departments or experts to acquire and report pertinent facts, relational information, or statistical impact to timelines, financial execution/spend plans.
Attend and participate in meetings and briefings, take and disseminate meeting minutes, and track action items.
Develop presentations and briefings
Works independently and effectively communicates with portfolio managers and cross function teams on quasi-technical and programmatic elements to ensure accurate and timely information to government management.
Detail-oriented and effectively manages multiple tasks to identify and resolve project issues to meet program goals and objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years of federal/DoD acquisition, budgeting and metrics experience
Federal/DoD acquisition program/project management experience supporting a Program Management Office (PMO) or Program Executive Office (PEO)
Experience with evaluation, development, and sustainment of a performance metric plan
Familiar with Life Cycle Cost Estimating (LCCE) and Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools) ACEIT
Extensive experience and project management skills
Comprehensive knowledge of programmatic, fiscal, and legal governance in all phases of project management
Proficient experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) MS Teams and SharePoint
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Salary at VISTA is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $105,000.00 to $125,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of VISTA's total compensation package for employees.
