ITC Federal is seeking a Senior Computer Systems Engineer/Architect to design, develop, and maintain enterprise IT systems and network architectures that support complex, mission-critical environments. This role requires deep technical expertise across systems engineering, network infrastructure, and security, with a strong focus on integrating scalable and secure solutions to meet evolving customer needs.
The Senior Engineer/Architect will serve as a technical leader, collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, design enterprise architectures, and guide the implementation of systems that optimize performance, security, and reliability.

The Senior Engineer/Architect will serve as a technical leader, collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, design enterprise architectures, and guide the implementation of systems that optimize performance, security, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of enterprise IT systems, network infrastructure, and cloud/hybrid solutions.
- Analyze complex system requirements and develop detailed architecture and engineering solutions.
- Design and integrate secure network solutions including routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, VPNs, and wireless networks.
- Support the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-level servers, storage systems, and virtualization platforms.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, architecture plans, and standard operating procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and system issues, providing Tier III/IV support as needed.
- Ensure all solutions comply with federal security standards and agency-specific requirements.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and security.
- Collaborate with program leadership, security teams, and other stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with mission goals.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 8+ years of progressive experience in IT systems engineering, network architecture, or enterprise IT infrastructure design.
- Proven expertise in designing and deploying large-scale enterprise networks and IT systems in federal or highly regulated environments.
