Job Description

As a Security Professional - Concierge Patrol in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will maintain a visible presence at the main entry point, assisting visitors and employees while monitoring for any security-related incidents. Your role involves providing excellent customer service, clear communication, and helping to deter unauthorized access. You will embody our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork, always acting with integrity and putting people first in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and contractors at the front desk, following site-specific procedures for an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification and credentials, helping to maintain authorized entry.
• Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Communicate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, visitor interactions, and any unusual occurrences at the front desk.
• Support the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures related to security and emergency response.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security experience is required.
• A valid Guard Card or security license is preferred.
• Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
