MBA Consulting Services, Inc. (CSi) is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated full-time Project Manager to join our team, supporting a key government customer. This position can be located in Carol Stream,IL or Denver, CO. As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective maintenance of leased properties by collaborating closely with landlords and managing various building vendors.

We are seeking a full-time Project Manager to work with landlords to maintain leased properties. This individual will be equired to work with a variety of building vendors. This individual will be managing the full range of technical and administrative work engaged in the delivery of minor repair and alteration projects for postal facilities.

Roles and Responsibilites:

  • Provides architect/engineering consulting services, providing technical expertise in the evaluation of problems and the development of alternatives for construction projects.
  • Participate in the analysis, evaluation, conduct of feasibility studies, cost estimates, and resolution of technical problems associated with the plan, design, and development of engineering systems and equipment that support construction projects.
  • Prepares and develops justification for engineering proposals, including identification of alternatives for facilities and systems, and equipment for review of management.
  • Participate in project management activities affiliated with the design, construction, testing, start-up, and operation of facilities, systems, and/or equipment.
  • Participates in the preparation of requests for proposals, including development of drawings and specifications, and upon receipt, participates in the evaluation of bids
  • Attend preconstruction and final acceptance meetings, conduct on-site inspections during the various project phases, and report on noncompliance with contract requirements.
  • Works with architects, engineers, contractors, construction representatives, and others involved in design and construction of postal facilities.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of the construction industry relates to the planning processes for design and construction of new facilities.
  • Ability to oversee and coordinate projects, including planning, organizing, and assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and
  • providing technical guidance and feedback.
  • Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret design and construction documents and technical reports.
  • The ability to work with, interpret and apply National and Local Codes (e.g., OSHA, building).
  • Knowledge of architecture, engineering, and building construction sufficient to review and inspect repair and alteration work and new construction of facilities.
  • Knowledge of facility contracting procedures, cost estimating, job site safety, project scheduling, and quality control procedures for facilities.
  • Proficiency using MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiar with HVAC, MEP, Fire Protection, Civil, Structural and Asbestos Abatement
