ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Supply Supervisor to join our team in Ramstein, Germany.
The selected candidate will provide logistics support to customers globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program. This position will assist in ensuring the operational readiness of pre-positioned WRM, focusing on preventive maintenance, serviceability, and availability of critical medical materiel established by the Air Force, enabling rapid response during contingency operations.
*Important Note*: Selected candidates without an ACTIVE German/E.U. Work Visa will be required to work the first 60 days in a Temporary role while obtaining their Visa. Once an E.U. Work Visa is approved, then you will be offered a Full-Time German Contract. If accepted, then you will be subjected to paying German taxes, obtaining German Healthcare, and working within the guidelines of the German labor system.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performs preventive maintenance on War Reserve Materiel (WRM) assemblages to ensure operational readiness per AFMAN 41-209 standards, conducts regular serviceability inspections of WRM assets, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain full functionality and manages the shelf-life extension programs (SLEP) for WRM, tracking expiration dates and coordinating replenishment of dated items as directed by Air Force protocols.
- Utilizes Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) to monitor and update WRM inventory records, ensuring accurate tracking of serviceable materiel; prepares and palletizes WRM for deployment readiness, adhering to Air Force handling and storage guidelines for temperature-sensitive and controlled items.
- Maintains secure storage environments for WRM, implementing access controls and coordinating with security personnel to safeguard assets; conducts periodic inventories using DMLSS and Allowance Standard Management System (ASMS), documenting condition and availability for Air Force reporting.
- Briefs customers on WRM maintenance status, highlighting readiness and any limiting factors (LIMFAC) affecting availability, trains and supervises logistics personnel on WRM maintenance procedures, ensuring compliance with Air Force contingency materiel management policies and collaborates with Air Force stakeholders to support rapid outload and reconstitution of WRM post-deployment, restoring readiness as required.
- Oversees the efforts of less senior logistics staff and providing guidance to senior logistician staff.
- Formulates policies, manages daily operations, and plans the use of materials and human resources.
- The selected candidate will provide logistics support to critical War Reserve Material (WRM) and perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of qualified logistics experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field (OR) 12+ years of qualified logistics experience and an associate degree in a related field (OR) 14+ years of qualified logistics experience.
- 3+ years focused on maintaining contingency or reserve materiel readiness;
- knowledge of Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) for inventory tracking and maintenance documentation;
- knowledge of Air Force logistics policies (e.g., AFMAN 41-209) related to WRM maintenance and serviceability.
- Experience in receipt, accountability, and inventory of equipment and spare parts.
- Experience in inventory and requisition supplies and maintaining stock of supplies and equipment.
- Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to meet the government deployment physical requirements, if needed.
- Must possess a Valid Driver's License for the location in which the work will be performed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid German or European Work VISA.
- Knowledge of Federal shipping and logistic regulations.
- Experience with U.S. Air Force AFSC 4A1X1 Medical Materiel Specialty or similar military logistics role.
- Familiarity with Allowance Standard Management System (ASMS) for WRM status monitoring.
- Prior experience ensuring materiel readiness in contingency or expeditionary operations.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a US citizen and have a current/active Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
- Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
- Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard for long periods of time
