Job Summary
Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a driven and highly qualified level four Business Analyst Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a diverse and skilled team dedicated to mission success.
As the Business Analyst SME, you will serve as the primary facilitator for U.S. Space Force (USSF) Test and Evaluation (T&E) activities, fostering collaboration among USSF Field Commands, Department of Defense (DoD) partners, and external mission organizations. You will play a critical role in providing strategic guidance to the Director of Test and Evaluation, driving the implementation of key initiatives across the USSF and Department of the Air Force (DAF) Test Enterprise.
In this capacity, you will offer direct support to the Policy and Programs (SF/TEP), Resources and Infrastructure (SF/TER), and Foreign Material Program/Special Projects (SF/TEZ) divisions within USSF/T&E. Your leadership and insights will help shape policy, resource allocation, and the execution of priority projects, ensuring a cohesive and forward-thinking approach to the USSF's testing and evaluation efforts.
Skills / Experience Required
Business Analyst L4 Skills and Experience:
* Active Top Secret security clearance (TS) with a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
* Willingness to consent to and complete a Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph, if required
* 15+ years of relevant Department of Defense (DoD) experience
* 5 years of experience in Special Access Program (SAP) and/or SCI environments within the last 5 years
* Proven ability to initiate, develop, and manage complex projects through completion, including implementation of lessons learned processes
* Strong data analysis skills to support senior leadership in tracking mission progress and informing decisions across the Space Test Enterprise
* Demonstrated ability to lead, facilitate, and coordinate efforts in support of Space Test Enterprise strategies, ensuring successful task execution
* Skilled in fostering collaboration across U.S. Space Force (USSF) organizations, the Department of the Air Force (DAF), and the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD)
* Capable of providing strategic advice, technical guidance, and subject matter expertise to USSF and DAF Test and Evaluation Directors and their staffs
* Ability to advocate for USSF Test and Evaluation objectives, aligning cross-organizational teams and initiatives toward shared goals across the USSF and DAF
* Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned in support of mission requirements
Education / Certifications
* Business Analyst L4 Education/Certs:
* Master of Arts/Master of Science degree in a field relevant to the position's functional area or equivalent work experience to offset the advanced degree
