ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril Intelligence Systems (AIS) is focused on positioning Anduril as a lead provider of specialized engineering and products for Intelligence Community (IC) customers. We work within the IC to understand their requirements, shape their concepts of operation, and deliver exquisite capability across their problem set. We aim to develop and deploy critically needed capabilities that address our customers' most pressing national security requirements.
ABOUT THE JOB

Anduril is seeking an IT Support Lead to oversee day-to-day operations of our classified IT systems, provide leadership to a team of support personnel (Tier 1-3), and ensure delivery of secure, high-performance infrastructure in support of sensitive national security programs. This position requires hands-on technical skills, exceptional communication, and strong leadership in a fast-paced classified environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end IT support function (Tier 1-3) within classified program environments.
  • Oversee incident response, service requests, and system operations across multiple classified networks.
  • Provide hands-on support and escalation for complex troubleshooting across systems, hardware, and software.
  • Ensure the health, performance, and security of air-gapped infrastructure by enforcing STIGs and cyber compliance.
  • Coordinate with program managers, security personnel (ISSM/ISSO), and engineering teams to support evolving mission needs.
  • Maintain service documentation, build guides, user manuals, and SOPs to standardize operations and knowledge sharing.
  • Manage and mentor junior IT staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and technical excellence.
  • Support system lifecycle management including patching, backups, performance tuning, and DR preparedness.
  • Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement across support processes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience supporting classified or secure IT environments, with increasing responsibility.
  • Familiarity with secure communication systems (VoIP, GitLab, SQL/Postgres, Sentris, WSUS).
  • Strong understanding of DoD cybersecurity policies, including experience with DISA STIGs and RMF.
  • Hands-on experience managing air-gapped systems, including hardware setup, system imaging, and configuration.
  • Proven ability to manage incident escalations and lead cross-functional troubleshooting.
  • Technical proficiency in at least two of the following: Windows Server (2019/2022), RHEL, VMware, Hyper-V, cloud services (AWS/Azure).
  • Strong leadership skills, including experience leading IT teams or support staff.
  • Ability to develop and maintain secure documentation, SOPs, and process guides.
  • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance with Counterintelligence Polygraph.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Engineer (RHCE).
  • Experience with classified cloud infrastructure or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with secure communication systems (VoIP, GitLab, SQL/Postgres, Sentris, WSUS).
  • Experience with Active Directory, group policy, DNS/DHCP, and configuration management tools.
  • Scripting or automation skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python) for recurring task optimization.
  • Familiarity with physical datacenter environments, including low-voltage cabling, racking, and power systems.
  • Ability to thrive in high-stakes, high-tempo classified environments with shifting priorities.


US Salary Range

$150,000 - $225,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
