The Test and Evaluation team at Anduril is integral to our mission, ensuring that every product meets the highest standards of performance and reliability. Our team specializes in a broad spectrum of testing activities, including developmental testing using surrogate vehicles. We are at the forefront of testing approaches, particularly in the domain of mission autonomy systems. We're seeking a motivated early-career engineer who is eager to learn and contribute to the testing and refinement of our autonomous systems.

US Salary Range
$100,000 - $149,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package. As a Mission Autonomy Test & Evaluation Engineer at Anduril Industries, you will support critical testing activities that shape the future of defense technology. Your contributions will help ensure our autonomy systems empower users to execute multifaceted missions with precision and efficiency.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support planning and execution of test events in collaboration with the broader Mission Autonomy team
- Assist in developmental and operational testing of mission autonomy capabilities using surrogate vehicles
- Collaborate with Mission Autonomy T&E team members, customers, and vendor partners to meet test objectives
- Author test reports and contribute to basic test plan development
- Participate in data collection and analysis to improve system performance
- Develop and deliver presentations to internal Mission Autonomy leadership
- Identify problem areas and work to develop independent solutions
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, robotics, or a related technical field
- 0-5 years of professional experience, with T&E experience considered a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication abilities with capacity to present technical information clearly
- Self-motivated with eagerness to learn new technologies and testing methodologies
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience in test and evaluation, particularly with autonomous systems
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques
- Experience with simulation tools for testing
- Understanding of FAA and FCC regulations
