Senior Program Manager

As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen, lawful resident alien, citizen of America.

CNAS is actively searching for a seasoned Senior Program Manager to lead and supervise all operational aspects. This role involves administering the contracted project, acting as the main liaison with Government program authorities. Responsibilities include directing cross-functional teams, resource management, financial oversight, and ensuring adherence to contract stipulations.

Pay commensurate with experience.

Senior Program Manager Responsibilities Include:
  • Acts as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for the contracted effort.
  • Serves as the primary interface and Point of Contact (POC) with Government program authorities on technical and program/project issues.
  • Directs efforts of cross-competency team(s) to include contractors at multiple locations.
  • Oversees contractor execution of the contract requirements.
  • Manages acquisition and employment of program/project resources.
  • Controls financial and administrative aspects of the program/project with respect to contract requirements.
  • Briefs senior leadership on program status and milestones.
  • Interfaces with the COR, GPLs, and contractor support.
  • Responsible overall for required personnel safety and workplace training.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


Senior Program Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Master's degree in a technical or business discipline OR
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline plus four years of additional work experience.
  • Required Experience: Minimum 10 years, with at least 5 years in Logistics or Supply Chain Management within the DON or other DoD programs.
  • Requires a Secret Clearance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
