Senior Cybersecurity Operations Analyst
Location: Chantilly, VA
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Operations Analyst to support high-priority programs
through advanced data analysis and cyber threat evaluation. You’ll work across multiple data
sources—network, system, and mobile—to identify risks, detect threats, and deliver actionable
insights. This fast-paced role involves both independent work and team collaboration, with
occasional domestic and international travel.
Key Responsibilities
● Collect and analyze cybersecurity data from diverse sources (network traffic, systems,
mobile platforms).
● Identify threats, vulnerabilities, and trends to support defensive operations and strategic
planning.
● Develop and present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical
stakeholders.
● Lead and support cybersecurity initiatives across multiple teams and locations.
● Conduct assessments and investigations aligned with cyber risk reduction goals.
Qualifications
● Experience in cybersecurity operations, digital forensics, or large-scale data analysis.
● Strong understanding of internet protocols, network infrastructure, and system security.
● Proficient in both Windows and Linux environments.
● Familiarity with scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) and cybersecurity tools (e.g., Wireshark,
SIEM, Kali Linux).
● Ability to convey technical findings clearly to various audiences.
Preferred
, ● Advanced degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
● Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, OSCP, GIAC, etc.).
● Experience with penetration testing, red/blue teaming, or automated threat detection.
● Knowledge of mobile/wireless technologies and data visualization tools.
● Foreign language skills are a plus.
