Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000
Job Summary:
The Knowledge Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the JECC's Collaborative Information Environment (CIE) to ensure effective organization, storage, and dissemination of information. This role supports the development and implementation of knowledge management strategies, tools, and processes to enhance decision-making, collaboration, and operational efficiency across JECC activities. The Knowledge Manager works closely with stakeholders to institutionalize best practices and ensure compliance with DoD and JECC policies.
Responsibilities/Duties:
  1. Knowledge Management Governance:
    • Develop and submit the JECC Knowledge Management Governance Plan within 30 days of contract start.
    • Establish JECC Battle Rhythm Business Rules and provide inputs to the JECC Staff Officer's Guide.
  2. Collaborative Environment Management:
    • Configure, manage, and migrate SharePoint platforms across appropriate domains.
    • Assist content managers in implementing web-based document management best practices.
  3. Change Management:
    • Support the development and implementation of new and existing knowledge management products, features, and services.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure staff processes, decision support tools, and battle rhythm events meet performance and availability requirements.
  4. Content Management:
    • Conduct surveys and reviews of site content, develop taxonomies, and implement archival procedures.
    • Provide librarian and document control support to manage records and information in compliance with federal guidelines.
  5. Training and Support:
    • Provide collaborative environment training and updated "How-To" guides for end-users.
    • Deliver large audience training sessions for major changes to the collaborative environment.
  6. Records Management:
    • Act as the Command Records Manager for JECC HQ and JPSE, ensuring proper training and oversight of records management programs.
    • Conduct staff assistance visits and ensure compliance with records accountability requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency Level: Intermediate (B) in relevant work roles.
  • Skills: Expertise in knowledge management, SharePoint administration, and content organization.
  • SECRET clearance required; TOP SECRET/SCI eligibility preferred.
