Job Description
The Intelligence Analyst provides technical and analytical support for the assessment of architecture, tools, operations, and processes. The candidate will provide recommendations for the codification of analytical conceptual techniques, tools and tradecraft, processing, design and exploitation that can be operationalized by the Air Force Intelligence Community, while providing expertise to multiple mission areas.
Develops and coordinates the evaluations
Recommends new areas of evaluation for incorporation into evaluation planning efforts
Formulates special studies to support the ACC Tradecraft Division
Reviews and develops technical documentation such as test plans, technical and test reports
Edits, standardizes, or makes changes to material prepared by other writers and illustrators.
Candidates must possess clear technical understanding of Intelligence Community tools and processes and be able to communicate effectivity with Air Force Intelligence Community members and teams.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree and 15 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree and 13 years of relevant experience. (Experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance
Experience with a focus on multiple domains of intelligence
Intelligence analysis training, to include target development
Intermediate or advanced multi-intelligence target development experience
Understands intelligence processes and organizational responsibilities within the AF and the Intelligence Community.
Solid understanding of intelligence practices and concepts
Familiar with Activity-Based Intelligence tradecraft
Well-developed organizational and time management skills
Strong written and oral communication skills, including ability to communicate detailed technical information to peers and non-technical management staff as needed
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Desired Skills
Familiar with US national intelligence partners
Graduate of Defense Intelligence Agency Joint Intermediate Target Development
Graduate of National Cryptologic School NETA2400 or NET2401
Knowledge of non-linear workflows
Familiar with Object Based Production
Knowledge of SIGINT, MASINT, GEOINT, HUMINT, and OSINT collection/analysis
Familiar with Air Operations Center (AOC) and/or Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS)
Excellent briefing and writing skills
