Cyber Operations Planning SME
Location: Fort Meade, MD
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Operations Planning Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in composing cyberspace orders and directives, assisting in the creation and dissemination of orders, and providing planning expertise to Crisis Action and Operational planning.

Key Responsibilities:
• Compose cyberspace orders and directives involving complex policy and doctrinal issues, such as dual chain of commands with conflicting priorities and strategies, responsibility, authority, and enforcement deficits.
• Assist in the creation and dissemination of orders directing maneuver, fires, and effects in a non-homogeneous cyber environment.
• Monitor and evaluate National, Joint Component, and internal operations to identify opportunities for the command to exercise additional authorities to meet objectives.
• Develop, evaluate, and advise the command on future operations affecting the three levels of cyberspace operations (physical, logical, and persona).
• Provide planning expertise to Crisis Action and Operational planning.
• Provide expertise and input to operations planning, future operations planning, and future cyber operations in support of the J5 Planning Directorate. This includes providing technical expertise regarding the development of strategic and operational plans resulting from the Joint Planning Process (JPP), including mission analysis, course of action development, campaign plans, and order development.
Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in cyber operations planning.
• Strong understanding of cyberspace policy and doctrinal issues.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex and dynamic cyber environment.
• Proven expertise in Crisis Action and Operational planning.
• Technical expertise in the Joint Planning Process (JPP).
