Description:Field Sales Support Systems Engineer Staff, AMMM - Level 4

What You Will Be Doing
As a Field Sales Support Systems Engineer Staff supporting Air Mobility & Maritime Missions (AMMM), you will lead integrated support efforts for legacy platforms such as the C-130, C-5, LM-100J, and P-3. This high-impact role serves as the central coordination point for planning, executing, and improving supply chain operations related to spares, repairs, third-party logistics (3PL), and customer fulfillment. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure program deliverables are met with precision and timeliness. Your contributions will directly support operational readiness and sustainment for domestic and international customers.
This position requires a strong understanding of logistics, program integration, and enterprise resource planning systems (e.g., SAP). You will also lead initiatives to streamline processes, improve metric reporting, support proposal and project management tasks, and coordinate compliance documentation for export-controlled material. With occasional international travel, you will engage directly with key stakeholders and customers, enhancing collaboration and driving program success from a global perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison for Supply Operations & Logistics (SO&L) support across AMMM platforms, including C-130, C-5, LM-100J, and P-3.
- Lead efforts to streamline and mature processes related to spares, repairs, third-party logistics (3PL), and performance metrics.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with contractual requirements by providing real-time status updates via ordering and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Coordinate and interface regularly with 3PL providers to support timely and efficient logistics execution.
- Manage procurement, manufacturing, and repair activities to ensure accurate and on-time delivery of aircraft spares and repaired components.
- Support proposal development, cost estimating, and project management functions in collaboration with finance and contracts teams.
- Develop and deliver training materials to improve internal understanding of spares and repair processes.
- Track and report requisitions, order statuses, and repair actions in support of internal planning and customer visibility.
- Generate and present logistics status updates to key stakeholders and external customers.
- Collaborate across functions-Supply Chain, Contracts, ERP, Production Control, and Quality Assurance-to address program-specific challenges and requirements.
- Coordinate export compliance documentation to support international transactions in alignment with U.S. trade regulations.
- Travel internationally as required to support program execution and customer engagement.

Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience with program, project, and/or team leadership
• Experience working as team gathering and analyzing data to accomplish solutions to complex problems
• Demonstrated experience with SAP or like enterprise resource planning tool
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly the use of Excel and Power Point in the preparation of graphs, charts and presentations
Desired Skills:
• Candidate must possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to lead, multitask and adapt easily in a rapidly changing environment
• Customer Service Skills
• Preferred but not required; Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Supply/ Logistics Management degree preferred.
• Experience with Inventory and/or Capital Control
• Seeking a team player with a positive attitude who is a self-starter and familiar with inventory management, financial, contracting, and product support activities
• Individual should be familiar with requirements development, management, negotiation, and verification
• Candidate should have exceptional organizational, administrative, and planning skills with prior experience managing complex tasks and suppliers
• Knowledge of the following MRP management systems: SAP, GOLD, and other logistics systems
• Ability to work under pressure in a high paced environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
