ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Shop Foreman to join our vehicle sustainment team in Erbil, Iraq.
The selected candidate will provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.

The selected candidate will provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills to diagnose, align, and repair failed and damaged systems.
- Prepares work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment and troubleshoots issues that arise; notifies maintenance department of equipment problems.
- Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ensures paperwork is completed and signed correctly.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6+ years of qualified maintenance experience.
- Qualified mechanical experience includes one or more of the following: light or heavy-duty trucks, tractors, tactical vehicles, aviation ground support systems, generators, power plants, aircraft or any diesel or gasoline powered equipment or vehicle; proven maintenance, repair and technical experience and background in industrial manufacturing, commercial maintenance or military operations or maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience in providing formal, over the shoulder, and on the spot training to contractor and unit personnel.
- Proven communicator in verbal and written disciplines to include basic computer skills and document preparation.
- Must be able to meet all government CONUS Replacement Center (CRC) requirements for foreign travel into operational locations; ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
- Must possess a Valid Driver's License for the location in which the work will be performed as well as a High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience on non-tactical/commercial vehicle fleets and/or military with light or heavy-duty trucks, tractors, tactical vehicles, ground systems, generators, power plants, aircraft or any diesel or gasoline powered equipment or vehicle.
- Experience with simultaneous maintenance, modification and repair projects on a variety of maintenance actions, tasks or repairs.
- Willingness to travel to various US or OCONUS locations.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen and have a current/active Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel
- Must be able to push, pull, and reach
- Must be able to work in high noise areas
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts
- Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard
