I2X Technologies is seeking a Systems Administrator to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will beon-site and will require an active Top Secret Clearance

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.

I2X Technologies is seeking a Systems Administrator to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will beon-site and will require an active Top Secret Clearance
- Participate in the implementation, maintenance, and support of information technologies, to include Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Solaris, and Microsoft Windows systems and components
- The primary responsibility for this position is for both Microsoft Windows and RedHat systems
- The Administrator develops, schedules, and performs installations and upgrades to OS/COTS, software, and database packages in accordance with established IT policies and procedures
- Coordinate the overall integration on new development systems as they transition to sustainment
- This position is also responsible for managing appropriate software solutions to ensure server data integrity, monitoring and tuning the system to achieve optimum performance level, monitoring security alerts and application systems, and working with other staff to ensure that all appropriate patches are applied in an automated and timely fashion
Qualifications
- 3 years of professional experience with an advanced degree or 5 years of professional experience with a Bachelors
- Active Top Secret security clearance
- Security+ certification
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Administration
- Experience with RedHat Linux Administration
- VMWare (or other virtualization platforms) administration experience
- Experience with installing and configuring systems, including the use of configuration tools such as Ansible
- Experience applying OS and antivirus updates, patching/updates
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills
- Ability to debug computer problems reported by end users
- Ability to ensure compliance with computer security policy, RMF
