Job Title: NMCI Support Specialist
Location: Patuxent River, MD (On-site, no teleworking)
Employment Type: Full-Time Employee (FTE) - 6 months contract to hire w/ our client
Clearance Required: Secret Clearance or Interim Secret Clearance
Certifications: Security+ (Preferred)
Experience Required: Previous or current NMCI experience

Job Description:
The NMCI Support Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for NMCI computer, peripheral, and network troubleshooting. Key duties include:
• Wireless LAN set-ups
• Infrastructure project management
• Port availability tracking
• Hardware/software ordering
• Maintaining data accuracy in government information technology systems
• Delivery completeness reporting
• Customer assistance
• Move/Add/Change (MAC) submissions
• Seat management
Required Skills and Experience:
• Hardware/software installation and troubleshooting, including NMCI infrastructure management
• Proficiency in Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing information technology environment
• Strong customer service and verbal/written communication skills
• Database management with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Skill in organizing and coordinating data calls
• Ability to work effectively with difficult customers
• Ability to follow through on tasks that cannot be completed immediately
