Overview
Abacus Technology is seeking an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to provide cyber and information assurance support for the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
12+ years experience in cybersecurity and information assurance including at least 5 years in a DoD environment. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Must be CISSP or CISM certified. Experience with security systems engineering involving hardware and software operating systems and application solutions. Knowledge of security features and/or vulnerability of various operating systems. Experience with IA vulnerability testing. Experience supporting US Government contract proposals as IA/security engineering subject matter expert and the implementation of DoD and Federal IA A&A processes. Knowledge of IA controls and developing and maintaining associated A&A documentation in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF). Experience with SAP/SAR. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance.

- Lead the coordination of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) documentation.
- Assist with design, development, implementation, integration of systems information assurance (IA) architecture.
- Serve as PMO expert of IA security protections and requirements.
- Assist in development of security plan of actions and milestone (POA&M) mitigations through timely assessment of POA&M corrective actions.
- Conduct technical and nontechnical reviews and observe audits as necessary to support development and test efforts.
