Position Title: Program Control Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
Program Control Analysts support financial and administrative operations across government contracts. They play a critical role in maintaining fiscal integrity and helping programs remain on budget and on schedule. Duties may include:
Develop, manage, and monitor program budgets, forecasts, and spend plans to ensure alignment with contract and task order requirements
Track funding obligations, expenditures, and burn rates; proactively identify variances and recommend corrective actions
Prepare detailed financial reports and briefings for internal leadership and government stakeholders
Collaborate with program managers, contract managers, accounting, and technical leads to deliver accurate and timely financial data
Contribute to cost proposals, basis of estimates (BOEs), and pricing strategy development
Ensure compliance with internal policies, FAR/DFARS, and other government financial regulations
Assist with invoice review and subcontractor financial oversight as needed
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience: 4–8 years of experience in program control, financial analysis, or related government contracting support
Preferred Tools & Skills:
Very proficient in Microsoft Excel, including use of advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization
Experience with Deltek Costpoint or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Experience with IBM Cognos reporting tools is highly desirable
Familiarity with Microsoft Project for schedule tracking and integration with cost data
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
Knowledge of various contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF) and DoD funding mechanisms
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet critical deadlines as needed
