Weapons Systems Maintenance Technician

Contract Position

$33.92-$42.65/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Perform flight line weapons systems maintenance, functional testing, and inspections to support ongoing flight schedules.
• Maintain, repair, and upgrade weapons systems and associated components by removing and replacing faulty parts.
• Conduct complex troubleshooting and diagnostic tests using appropriate test equipment.
• Perform routine and non-routine inspections per maintenance documentation standards.
• Document all maintenance and inspection activities to meet regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Provide guidance and training to junior technicians and assist with issue resolution.
• May support tasks requiring travel to other work sites.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; vocational school or associate degree plus 2+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Interim Secret Clearance required.
• Minimum 4 years of aviation maintenance experience.
• Experience with M240 weapon systems maintenance.
• U.S. Citizenship required by federal law.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  • Military background with aviation maintenance specialization.
  • Experience handling flare buckets or similar munitions systems.
